- Tuition fees are required to be paid by deposit and in two subsequent instalments. The undersigned legal guardians/custodial parents or their heirs and successors will be liable for the entire fees for the full school year as of July 1st, 2009.
- Notice of withdrawal may be given by a parent in writing up to June 15th, 2009. On or after June 15, 2009 the custodial parents/legal guardians or others accepting the financial responsibility for a pupil becomes liable for payment of the fees for the full school year.
- Where Notice of Withdrawal has not been provided and any portion of the fees remains unpaid (except where arrangements have been made with the School), the child or children shall not be admitted to classes at the commencement of the next academic term and the legal guardians/custodial parents will remain liable for the entire fees for the school year.
- An interest charge of 1.5% per month (18% per year) is charged on overdue amounts. If arrangements are made to pay tuition fees on a monthly basis, 1.5% is charged each month on the outstanding balance in the account. Arrangements must be made through the office prior to July 1st, 2009.
- Certain non-tuition amounts and individual expenses are not included in these fees. Payment will be required for such other charges as may be required by the School including aftercare, transportation, field trip charges, charges for special events or services and other such expenses that may arise. These will be separately invoiced. For example, there is a required annual Band Fee of $250 for all Grade 6, 7 & 8 students, which is required by July 1st, 2009.
- An administrative charge will be applied for Insufficient Fund cheques (NSF charges) in the amount of $30.00 per cheque.
- It is agreed that the contract is for a one year period and that registration in Montcrest School for all future years will be subject to the School's discretionary right to determine whether or not continued enrolment is in the best interests of the child, the School and/or other members of the School community.
- Montcrest School maintains the right to ask and require that a student be withdrawn for a defined period or for the remainder of the academic year where it concludes that such a suspension or expulsion is in the best interests of the child, the School and/or other members of the School community. In such a case, the full tuition remains payable in accordance with this agreement.
- Participation in programs, educational activities and athletic activities carries with it some risks and hazards. These risks and hazards are expressly accepted and, save and except where caused as a sole consequence of Montcrest School's wilful neglect, the undersigned legal guardians/custodial parents waive, release, indemnify and save harmless Montcrest School, its Board, its employees, agents and volunteers from any and all liability arising there from.
