Montcrest's House System
All students and members of staff at Montcrest School belong to one of four houses. Members of the houses will have a number of opportunities over the course of the year to work and play together. At Montcrest School, our house system emphasizes cooperation over competition.

Each house is named for a great individual who, through their determination and courage, brought about significant, positive, and lasting change. Remembering, telling and retelling the stories of these individuals is an important part of our own history.

  • Fox House (Terry Fox - a Canadian Hero)
  • Livingston House (Katherine Livingston - Montcrest School's first Principal)
  • Masih House (Iqbal Maish - the inspiration for "Free the Children")
  • McClung House (Nellie McClung - a champion of womens rights)
In addition, each of the houses represents one of the shared values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Compassion, and Courage from the Montcrest Standing for Character program.
