PhotoSensitive is a group of professional photographers who each year mount an exhibit on a specific topic. The theme of this year's exhibition is "the aging population." Along with other schools, we were invited to participate in the project. Last semester in Art class, we discussed possible ways to explore this topic and students in various grades were asked to take photos. These photos were then judged by a jury of professional photographers. I am pleased to say that four Montcrest students had their photographs chosen for the exhibition. Montcrest families and our Alumni families are welcome to visit the exhibit which opens on September 15, 2014 at the Royal Bank Plaza, 200 Bay Street, Toronto.
